The CRS328-24P-4S+RM is a switch with 28 independent ports. It features 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports that support various power output options: Passive PoE, low-voltage PoE, and 802.3af/at with auto-sensing capabilities. Power over Ethernet (PoE) is delivered through mode B pins (4,5+ and 7,8-). Additionally, the switch includes four SFP+ ports that allow for connectivity options of up to 10 Gbps through either optical fiber or Ethernet modules (not included). The CRS328-24P-4S+RM is housed in a 1U rackmount case and comes with a built-in 100-240 V AC 500 W power supply. It consumes up to 44 W, leaving a guaranteed 450 W available (3×150 W for every 8 Ethernet ports) to power your PoE devices. Each port can provide up to 30 W of power, regardless of the chosen power output option. This device offers a choice between two operating systems: RouterOS and SwOS. If you prefer a simplified operating system that focuses on switch-specific features, you can use SwOS. However, if you require routing capabilities and other Layer 3 features, RouterOS is the better option. You can select your preferred operating system via the RouterOS, SwOS, or RouterBOOT loader settings. All of these features are offered at a competitive price, providing excellent performance for the cost.
